Book Reading & Activity for Children

About the event
We will use the hour of our time together to discuss plants, the destiny of seeds and becoming and author. Students/children will be given a sunflower seed and informed of their own beautiful contributions they have to make to this world and the beauty within them.
We will read the story, Pick Me! A Flower Awaits Her Destiny. Students/children will enjoy the read-along portion, vocalizing, "Pick Me!" along with me, and we will end by discussing the theme of asking for help.
Activities following the reading will include coloring and writing. If anyone buys a workbook, they may also begin working on the literacy, math or science activities.
Books and the accompanying curriculum workbook will be for sale. Also, a raffled give-away will include the digital book and workbook!
